ABG or Arterial Blood Gasses is needed in All emergency cases and some non-emergency also like DKA(Diabetic ketoacidosia)for example.
Arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling allows for immediate analysis of the patient's acid–base balance by sampling arterial blood. Most resuscitation rooms and critical care areas have an ABG machine
